In 2004-2005, Lisa served as the Gallery Manager in Old Lyme, Connecticut and again in 2006 in Essex Connecticut. This is one example of the management services
offered. Lisa’s
role at the galleries included gallery management, art selection and sales,
exhibitions and installations and all graphic design and marketing services...Wow, that's a lot of hat wearing isn't it?
2008 is seeing much growth for both lisamikulski.com and for Dragonfly Blu Design. Please see the art management section for an enhanced services listing or visit Dragonfly for more about graphic and web design services.
Lisa is also very much enjoying her endeavors into written communications. She maintains a blog ArtLOOK which provides tips, resources and feature writing for artists and designers. Contacted by Jeff Lilly of INK Publications she also writes feature articles on Connecticut artists, studios and designers for that monthly magazine.
Lisa received her education in Art History and Fine Arts from Trinity
College in Hartford, Connecticut. Receiving highest honors, she was the
recipient of the Baird Fellowship that allowed her to study art and architecture
in Paris, France. Prior to starting her own business, she worked in corporate
and project management consulting. She brings exceptional organizational
ability and an understanding of business management to her businesses and her clients.
Lisa resides in Westbrook, Connecticut with her two
magnificent sons. She enjoys traveling Europe, reading, socializing, and she is presently
trying to figure out what new language to learn.
